Marco Island boat tour
“Every day is a great day on the boat!” True enough, Marco Island was created to be enjoyed on the water. If you live in Marco, you HAVE to own a boat. It is impossible to enjoy our little island in paradise without a boat. Therefore, if you are visiting Marco Island, you must get out on one of the available Marco Island boat tours.
The island made to be a paradise
The Mackle brothers came to southwest Florida with a vision in 1962 – creating an island paradise. The natural crescent-shaped beach was the selling point of their next construction project. Over 100 miles of inland waterways had been dredged five years later. Over 200 miles of concrete seawall installed. In 1968 the Mackles began selling vacation homes to middle-class families in northern snowy climates. The rest is history.
Enjoy Marco’s idyllic waterfront community.
Marco Island was built for beachcombers, fishermen, shellers, and boaters. Paradise was found with a perfect sunset view to the west over the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The best memories are made on the water in Marco, catching a fish, finding a rare sea shell, and enjoying the perfect sunset every night.
”I had the best time today with five friends on the Florida Island Tours out of Marco Island. Captain Nate and Captain Jules hospitality and knowledge of the area added to this great experience. We took the 3 hour tour and the time went by so quickly. We saw Dolphins, spoon bills, along with shelling and viewing the Dome home and many beautiful homes along the way. The music was great too. I can’t wait to take our family when they visit this winter. It was great!
